Tanzanian National Arrested For Illegal Possession of Pistol

Police in Kyotera in Rakai are holding a 22-year-old Tanzanian national for illegal possession of a pistol and 4 bullets.
 
Claire Pascal (22), a resident of Kyaaka , Bukoba  region  in Tanzania  has been arrested for illegal possession  of a pistol. She was found with the firearm in Kyotera trading centre, in Rakai District.
 
Claire was found out after she had a quarrel with manicurist over the fee she had to pay for the service. The manicurist Wasswa Kibedi demanded 2000 shillings for working on Claire's nails. Claire, however, accused the manicurist of trying to exploit her. She claimed she was supposed to pay 1,000 shillings for the service. 
 
In an argument that followed, a furious Claire pulled out the pistol and threatened to shoot Wasswa before she left.
 
A shaken Wasswa reported the threat against his life to the police.
 
Rose Nabakooza, the District Criminal Investigations and Intelligence Directorate, (CIID) says that Police has recovered 4 bullets from Claire’s house and some pictures while she was dressed in what looks like an army uniform.
 
Claire is being held at Kyotera police station as she waits to face charges of illegal possession of a firearm.
