Speaking to Uganda Radio Network on her hospital bed after the successful operation, Akello confessed that her family does not have the money to enable her travel up to Mulago National referral hospital for the operation.
Dr. Emmanuel Batiibwe, the Director Soroti regional referral hospital, advised Akello and her family to fundraise for financial help from well wishers.
