Quack Herbalists Remanded for Impersonation

Court  in Masaka  presided  over by Chief Magistrate Boniface Wamala has remanded three quack herbalists who were on last week on Thursday arrested with crocodile sexual organs.
 
Prosecution told court that on January 4, 2013 at Nyendo Trading centre the trio Namiya Namugabo (34), a resident of Kyakatebe, in Bukomansimbi district; Hassan Mubiru  (30), a resident of Bugerere Kayunga district and  Faizal  Mugula (19), a Senior two  student of Kangurumira  Christian SSS in Kayunga  district  were arrested selling crocodile sexual organs to women and other herbs. 
 
Prosecution led by Anna Kiiza further told court that the accused were in possession of various harmful herbs and concoctions which are dangerous to human life if used.
 
The accused pleaded not guilty to the charges of impersonation and because they did not have sureties they were remanded to Masaka prison.
 
His worship Wamala remanded the trio until 21st January 2013 when they will be brought back in Court.
