Ampadde says they also responded with fire killing two thugs on spot.  He says two other thugs who were waiting in a vehicle registration number UAP 908T managed to escape with a gun but left behind the vehicle. According to Ampadde they are yet to identify the deceased thugs, whose bodies were still at Mubende police station by the time of filing this story.

Ampadde also dislocated his arm during the operation while rolling down during the gun fire exchange. Residents have appreciated the police for responding in time to stop the robbery.
