Police Hold Man for Brutal Murder of Step Father

 Apac police are holding a man in connection to the brutal death of his step father. The suspect has been identified as Julius Ngura, a resident of Atuma village, Nambyeso Sub County in Apac district.
 
He is wanted in connection to the death of his step father Yokoyadi Odia. The deceased was burnt to death in the wee hours of Tuesday morning after unidentified person set his grass thatched house ablaze.
 
 
Tom Opio, the area LC I chairperson says that Ngura was picked up as a prime suspect in the murder because of his long feud with the deceased over property. The suspect has reportedly been accusing the deceased of inheriting their family property when he married his mother Hida Odia about five years ago.
 
 
Joan Akullu, the deceased's neighbor says the suspect has been threatening to kill the deceased for allegedly mismanaging the property left behind by their father.
 


Jimmy Mogi Agaba, the Officer in charge criminal investigations Apac CPS says Ngura is being held as a prime suspect in the murder adding that, they have preferred murder charges against him.
