Senkumbi says the taskforce has started hunting down the criminal gangs to recover the guns they have been using to attack residents. Police believe this is a small group of criminals using the same gun to terrorise residents. The Violent Crime Intelligence Operations Unit was instrumental in tracking down and breaking up criminal gangs that were behind the murder of numerous businessmen.
