 Police have started firing teargas at the Forum for Democratic Change-FDC party headquarters in Nanjakumbi along Entebbe- Kampala Highway.

The officers started dispersing FDC party members leading to confrontations.  As a result, Police decided to open teargas to disperse the FDC officials. Currently, dozens of anti-riot and military police have deployed in Najjanankumbi to try and contain the situation.
 
Andrew Felix Kaweesi, the police Director Human Resource Development, says they will not allow the party to announce parallel presidential and parliamentary election results. 
FDC, whose candidate is the main challenger to President Yoweri Museveni's 30-year-rule, says there is rigging ongoing in favour of the incumbent.
