Transport grounded to a halt in Kampala city this morning following rainfall that lasted for over six hours. 

Uganda Radio Network - URN visited some of the city suburbs such as
Kanyanya, Bwaise, Kawala and Kalerwe in Kawempe Division and now brings you the pictures.

Olive Nakatudde is a URN journalist based in Kampala. Nakatudde has been a URN staff member since 2013.
