On Friday June 9, more than 1,000 people participated in the Bunyoro marathon codenamed Empango run, one of the activities preceding the June 11 coronation anniversary of the Omukama of Bunyoro Solomon Gafabusa Iguru.
The Empango run organised by Bunyoro Kitara Kingdom in collaboration with Spice FM was aimed at raising money to procure beds for the Kagadi General Hospital's maternity ward.
