The Global Peace Leadership Conference, 2018 was today officially opened by Prime Minister Ruhakana Rugunda at the Munyonyo Speke Resort Hotel. 

The three-day conference under the theme; Moral and Innovative Leadership: New Models for Sustainable Peace and Development is expected to build consensus on response towards pressing regional and international challenges.

The conference has attracted Heads of State, first ladies, religious, cultural leaders, entrepreneurs, youth, women, community organisers and among others from the Great Lakes Region.
