Cue out…night they clash.”//

Earlier in the day, police fired tear gas at the supporters of Salamu Musumba at Kamuli Taxi Park. Lubega explains that they were forced to fear tear gas to disperse the supporter to prevent violence from breaking up. Addressing his last campaign rally, Musumba asked the electorate to vote someone who will carter for their needs and improve the road infrastructure, water coverage and delivery of health services. President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni also held three rallies in Kamuli district to canvas support for Thomas Kategere, the NRM candidate.

He asked the voters to elect a person who will not clash with the ruling government. Thomas Kategere promised to implement the NRM manifesto that focuses on improving social services. The Kamuli LC V set fell vacant after Ahmed Kaugu Kawooya, the former LC V chairperson was thrown out by court over lack of the minimum academic qualifications.
