Mpefu Seed Secondary School in Kagadi district has been closed following a violent student's strike. Students rampaged on Monday night and destroyed laboratory equipment, office documents and scholastic materials worth millions of Shillings to protest alleged demonic attacks in the school.

They accused the administration of failing to act, despite the fact that the demons have so far claimed the lives of three students. There are also reports that six students are recovering from the demonic attacks after they were rushed to a nearby church for prayers a few weeks back.

Our reporter couldn't independent verify the claims.  Joseph Ayesiga, the Acting Kagadi District Police Commander, says the students accuse some of the staff for masterminding the demonic attacks. Ayesiga says they have temporarily closed the school to allow the authorities to chat away forward.

Bartholomew Bukenya, the Kagadi District Education Officer, told he was aware of the strike but declined to comment, saying he was yet to get details. Mpefu Seed Secondary School has over 200 students.
