Substitute Brian Majweja and South African based professional Geoffrey Massa scored second half goals on Saturday to hand Uganda an advantage of qualifying for the Group stage of the qualifiers.

Besides Majwega and debut making Farouk Miya who were home based players, all the other players who featured in the Cranes win where foreign based. Uganda needs a win, a draw or a loss by one goal to qualify for the Group stage.

The winning team over two legs will enter the Group that has Togo, Guinea and the Black Stars of Ghana.

Micho also said he is happy that Kenyan based midfielder Khalid Aucho will be available for the return leg on August 3. The Tusker FC player has been suspended after accumulating two yellow cards in the two games against Madagascar in the second round of the qualifiers.
