Mbabazi Warns State Against Disrupting His Rallies

Addressing the press in Arua ahead of his rallies in the district, Mbabazi said the state had a hand in disrupting his campaign rallies.

Mbabazi's supporters in Masaka, Kasese and Arua reported that unknown people were defacing their candidate's posters before his rallies.
 
In one occasion, a campaign chopper for President Yoweri Museveni landed at Boma Grounds in Fort Portal, shortly before Mbabazi held his rally there.
 
Mbabazi told the press that he will not be intimidated by these actions, and will continue to press for change in the country.

Mbabazi also responded to president Yoweri Museveni on his failure to improve thing sin government when he was minister. Mbabazi insists the constitution vests executive power on the president, and that it is only now that he can talk about wrong decisions made.

After his news conference at White Castle Hotel in Arua, Mbabazi left for Arua where he held his first rally Tuesday afternoon.
