No Ugandan player has won the lucrative CAF Champions League trophy. Last year another Cranes player Junior Yunus Ssentamu while featuring for DR Congo's AS Vita lost to Algeria's ES Setif in the 2014 CAF Champions League final.


On Sunday another Sudan side Al Hilal will face USM Alger (Algeria) in another first leg of the semi final in Khartoum.
