Kyabazinga Appoints Joseph Muvawala Substantive Prime Minister

The officials were sworn in by Peter Mutala, the Jinja High Court magistrate in a fully-fledged Lukiiko in Bugembe this morning. In his acceptance speech, Dr. Muvawaala called for unity among the subjects of the kingdom.

William Wilberforce Gabula Nadiope IV, the Kyabazinga of Busoga Kingdom has confirmed Dr. Joseph Muvawala, as the substantive Prime Minister for his Kingdom.
 
Muvawala has been serving in the interim administration since Gabula was coronated in 2014. He is deputised by Mohammed Lubega Kisambira and Osman Al - Nudir Ahmed as first and second deputy premiers, respectively.

The remaining cabinet ministers will be announced and presented to Busoga Lukiiko and clan heads for approval. Some of those tipped to become ministers include Leuben Lufafa, Sam Nkenga, Eng. John Inensiko, Amin Bbosa, Solomon Wamulo, Dolly Mubarak, Siraji Bogere, Andrew Ntange, Kigenyi Wasolo, Sarah Ibanda and Kilikwisa.
 
They were nominated by the Kyabaziinga of Busoga, William Gabula Nadiope IV, who is currently in United Kingdom for further studies.
