Isabirye's Bidco FC face Jinja Hippos In Azam Uganda Premier League

Football fans mostly from Busoga region will have their eyes fixed on todays derby pitting arch-rivals Jinja MC Hippos FC against Bidco FC at the Kakindu Stadium.

Coach Alex Isabirye will lead his Bidco FC side against Jinja MC Hippos in one of the Azam Uganda Premier League matches to be played on Friday.

The Jinja derby will take place at the Kakindu Stadium. Isabirye will be looking for another win as his team are now placed 5th on the log, while Hippos are eighth.

"We respect Bidco FC because they are one of the best and most difficult opponents in the Premier League at the moment. They are on a three match unbeaten run," said JMC Hippos head coach James Odoch.

Isabirye who took charge of Bidco FC in June this year has predicted a nervous game. ‘It's going to be a top clash. I respect my colleague Odoch and I know the match is going to be entertaining but as a coach I will be going for a win," he added.

Bidco FC will be boasted by the return of their key defender Derrick Walulya from suspension, Jinja MC will miss the services of Dan Shabena and former Bul FC winger Pauleta Emenyu to injury.

The other matches on card will see table leaders KCCA FC face SC Victoria University, while army side Simba SC take on Soana FC. Defending champions SC Vipers will also be up against Maroons FC, Sadolin paints host Express FC, Bright Stars battle Lweza FC and Police FC take on URA FC.
