Jamaican National Killed in Kabale Accident

One person has died and two others severely injured in a motor accident involving a bus belonging to Horizon Coaches at Muhanga in Kabale. The deceased has only been identified as Jamen, a Jamaican national working with unidentified Non Governmental Organisation in Kabale. Charles Sebambulidde, Kabale District Police Commander says that the accident occurred this morning when a Horizon bus of registration number UAL 231 L from Kampala collided with a Toyota Land cruiser that was heading to Mbarara. He says that Jamen, who was traveling in the land cruise, was died instantly. Sebambulidde says that two other identified victims were rushed to Kabale Hospital in critical condition. He says that have started investigating the accident to establish what could have led to the collusion. The death of the Jamen brings to four, the number of people killed in motor accidents in Kabale within a space of one week. Three motorists were killed on Saturday in an accident that occurred at Katuna road in Kabale. Willy Abaha, Kabale Traffic Police Officer identifies the deceased as George Ahurweindeire, a motor cycle taxi operator and Peace Mushabe, a passenger. The deceased were knocked dead by a speeding trailer of registration number KBC 460/ZC 864 that was heading to Rwanda from Kampala.
