Ghana's head coach Avram Grant last night spied on the Uganda Cranes during an international friendly played in Lome.


The Cranes lost 1-0 to Togo in a game played at the Stade de Kague Stadium. The former Chelsea coach in the English Premiership reportedly arrived in the Stadium early and took notes through out the game.


Atakora Lalawele netted the lone goal early in the first half when he beat Salim Jamal Magoola with a hard shot. First choice goalkeeper Denis Onyango who was not fully fit did not play.


The Uganda Cranes will arrive in Tamale on Thursday ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualify against the Black Stars of Ghana on Friday.


Coach Milutin 'Micho' Sredojevic during an interview in Togo said the friendly was very important because the technical team now know where to make adjustments ahead of the game against Ghana.


Skipper Asamoah Gyan who joined UAE's Al Ahli, UAE last month, Jordan Ayew (Aston Villa, England),  Abdul Majeed Waris (Lorient, France) and David Accam who features for Chicago Fire, USA are expected to be selected to lead the Black Stars attack)


After the Cranes game the Black Stars squad will travel to face the Bafana Bafana of South Africa in an international friendly in Durban on Tuesday October 11.
