Former Etoile du Sahel striker Emmanuel Okwi will this afternoon lead SC Villa against Bright Stars in a FUFA League match at Nakivubo Stadium.

Okwi, who left SC Villa in 2010 for Tanzanian giants Simba SC and later to the Tunisian giants Etoile du Sahel, was cleared last Friday to feature in the League after he was registered.

The Cranes star striker kept SC Villa waiting since last month when the world governing body, FIFA cleared him to join the club on a six month provisional international Transfer Certificate (ITC).

Okwi requested for Fifa intervention after he claimed that Etoile du Sahel had failed to fulfill part of their contractual obligation. Okwi was reportedly signed for US$300,000 by Etoile du Sahel early this year. The player now says he is happy to be back in active football after failing to settle in at Etoile and disagreeing with the club over payments.

In the other matches URA FC will hope to keep top of the log when they host struggling Entebbe FC in Lugazi.

URA striker Augustine Nsumba says the tax collectors are not ready to surrender the top slot on the table. URA is joint top with SC Victoria at 18 points, but boast of a better goal difference.

Second placed SC Victoria University, who will represent Uganda in the 2014 CAF Confederations Cup, battle Proline FC, while defending champions KCCA FC play away to bottom-placed CRO FC in Mbale.

Also in action are Express who take on Kiira Young FC, while Police battle seventh placed Soana FC. Vipers SC who are back to winning ways take on third placed Bidco FC. Army side Simba FC will be away to Masaka LC FC.
