Uganda Cranes must defeat Guinea on Wednesday in a 2015 Afcon qualifier in order to make meaning out of the draw in Kumasi, Ghana last weekend, Uganda Cranes tactician Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic has said.

The Cranes held the Black Stars of Ghana to a 1-all draw at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi. Guinea who beat Emmanuel Adebayor’s Togo 2-1 on Friday top the Group with three points.

Sredojevic whose team heads straight to camp upon arrival this morning said ‘his boys’ have to keep focused and know that they need to ensure the team can pick all the three points on Wednesday.

The Coach called upon all football loving Ugandans to fill the Mandela National Stadium, Namboole and cheer the team to victory. He explained that the fans, also referred to as ‘the 12th man’ will be very important to push the team forward.

Asked about the team strategy going into the Guinea game, Sredojevic said there could be some more changes in the team because he has to consider several factors in regards to player’s fitness and analysis of the Guinea team.

Striker Geoffrey Massa who missed the Ghana game because his club University of Pretoria released him late, and talented midfielder Brain Majwega who stayed behind because of an injury are expected to beef up the squad.
