The match pitting 13-time record winners Uganda against the defending champions promises to be a cracker at the Addis Ababa Stadium. It will also be the first time Kenyan coach Bobby Williamson lines up a team against his former Cranes team.


In-form Farouk Miya together with Ivan Ntege and Ceasar Okuthi are expected to lead the Cranes, while Micheal Olunga and Allan Wanga will hold the key for Harambee Stars attack.


Burundi leads Group B after stopping Zanzibar 1-0 in the opening match on Saturday courtesy of a Didier Kavumbagu first half goal.


The second game played on Saturday saw Rwanda shock hosts Ethiopia 1-0 with the lone coming from Jacques Tuyisenge. Before the Cranes face Kenya this evening the Somalian team handled by former Ugandan international Livingstone Mbabazi will take on Tanzania.


On Monday action will shift to the town of Bahir Dar where fast improving South Sudan battle Djibouti before Sudan face guest side Malawi. The regional tournament will climax on December 5th.
