The former Archbishop of the Church of Uganda Dr. Livingstone Mpalanyi Nkoyoyo was on Tuesday afternoon laid to rest at the Anglican Martyrs Shrine in Namugongo, Nakiyanja. At the same venue, on June 3rd, 1969, Nkoyoyo was ordained reverend.
 
He died from pneumonia at Kampala Hospital on Friday last week where he had been undergoing treatment. In early 2017, Archbishop Nkoyoyo underwent successful treatment for cancer in the United Kingdom.
 
Uganda Radio Network - URN followed the funeral service at Namugongo and now brings you pictures.
