Dominic Ochola aka Afande Dominic has been a journalist since 2005. Starting out as a high school news club reporter, he soon was employed by King 90.2 FM in 2007. Ochola was a reporter at the Gulu based radio.
In 2009, Ochola joined Radio Rupiny 95.7 FM as a presenter and Traffic Controller. The Vision Group later posted him to Lira in 2012 to work as Sub Editor at the Rupiny Newspaper until 2014.
Ochola was also a reporter at the Irene Gleeson Foundation faith based Mighty Fire 91.5 FM in 2015 before joining Uganda Radio Network (URN) 2016 as Special Projects Correspondent covering Education.
In 2017, he was employed by Wizarts Foundation as Gulu District Coordinator for the Superwoman Project . In 2018, URN recalled him and redeployed him as Bureau Chief Kitgum covering Acholi East districts of Pader, Agago and Lamwo from April 2018 to May 2019. Ochola has been redeployed as effective June 1st 2019 to date as Gulu Bureau Chief covering Amuru, Nwoya and Omoro districts.
