In short
Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club and Bunnamwaya FC are the only two unbeaten sides in gthe on-going Bell Lager Super League.

Defending champions Uganda Revenue Authority and Bunnamwaya FC are the only two teams yet to suffer defeat in the on-going Bell Lager Super League.

URA drew 1-1 on the opening day of the League against the Express FC, but they have fired on all cylinders scoring eight goals and conceding only two. Coach Alex Isabirye says the team is working hard to retain the trophy we they last season.

After signing Vincent Kayizzi from a Serbian club, the revenue collectors look very compact and the best attacking team in the league. However, their defense is still suspect when put under lots of pressure. Striker Henry Kisekka is among the leading scorers with two goals to his credit, one less than KCC’s Michael Birungi who leads the charts.

Although the 2009 League champions Bunnamwaya are placed 10th, they have played four matches, won two and collected two draws. With the likes of Owen Kasule who features for the Cranes, the team is yet to gel well. But on Tuesday they showed some good football beating KCC 1-0 courtesy of a Martin Muwanga goal.

SC Villa who have invested a lot by acquiring a Serbian coach late last season and signing many relatively good players have still failed to play good football. The Joggos are firing blanks as they have only scored two goals from five matches. After beating army side Simba FC last week, the blues are now in eighth place, but will have to work hard and win their games to climb to the top four as their fans seem to be running out of patience.

Express FC who started the season in excellent form under Coach Sam Ssimbwa, have continued to play exciting football, but scoring also seems to be their major problem. The Wankulukuku based team has the age advantage to their side as most of their players are young talented stars in the making. Ssimbwa says he is building the team for the future, noting that he has no worries even if they don’t win the trophy this year. He is confident the team can dominate Ugandan football for many years because they are young and talented.

Collected Tuesday results
  Firemasters 0 Water 2
Maroons 0 Bidco 1
KCC 0 Bunnamwaya 1
Victors 2 Police 1
