Management of Mountain Gorilla FC has gone high tech. to raise funds for their 2008 campaign. The club wants to raise 100 Uganda million shillings to participate in four major cups and friendly matches in Western Uganda and Rwanda.
A club website is being set-up to increase its visibility and improve interaction with fans, sponsors and merchandise buyers. The Club's Team Manager, Davis Kadoyi, says funds are needed to professionalize the team and improve the welfare of players.
The website will cost five millions to set and be maintain. Kadoyi says the club is funding 100 youth who play in their senior team, ladies team and the 10 to 18 year group in the academy.
Mountain Gorilla FC is looking for honours in the Kabale first division league, South Western Uganda Zone six competitions, Western Uganda Super Mini league and the Ambassadors cup in Rwanda.
The Club recently hosted Kampala giants SC Villa and put up a strong performance.
